A mostly settled week, although chillier overnight lows. The week will be mainly dry with some shower chances on Thursday Night and Friday. Highs will be in the 50’s and 60’s with some lows in the 30’s to start the week and then 40’s and 50’s. Some areas may see frost on Monday Morning and Monday Night/Tuesday Morning. Water, surf and beach conditions will be borderline to cautious on Monday and then good for the rest of the week. Water temperatures are steady in the 50’s, but may drop some with the cooler nights this week. UV Index will be Low to High at 1-8/15.

The low pressure system will meander over eastern Canada through mid week. It will eventually deepen over the northwestern Atlantic ocean waters through the end of the work week. Another low pressure system will propagate northeast off the Mid Atlantic coast next weekend.

This week starts Hurricane Preparedness Week. Here is a link to this year’s information. Nothing has changed from previous years, but it is always worth refreshing your memory.
