Headed out of the S.R. inlet with intel From Irish Ayes about bluefish at the S.R. reef. On the way out came across a small bunker school and snagged a few for bluefish bait. Decided to hook one on a line and drop him while snagging. Within a few minutes line is peeling. Pick up the rod to set the hook and he drops the bait. Checked the bait and it had just a few scales knocked off. Threw another one out and shortly after hooked up again and boated. 3 more dropped the bait and boated 1 more. Fish were 40 and 45 lbs. Back at the dock by 1, good day.
