After reading the fishing reports Tom and I decided to try the Fluke fishing in the Navesink River. Leaving our slip at 7AM we arrived at the Oceanic Bridge where we joined about ten other boats, The fishing started very fast on the first drift as we caught plenty of shorts, then someone threw a switch and that was the last of the good fishing. Back out to Sandy Hook Bay we finished the morning with two keeper Fluke. Killies are getting had to come by in our local traps. Pete
