YSA Things are Tough All Over 9/16
« on: September 17, 2012, 11:47:27 AM »
Shoved off bout 6 with "mystery bait" Cooch and "where's my sunglasses?" Tom. Stellar conditions and fine sunrise. Many Cbass in Swash, nothing laying on Romer. Ambrose 10 = Robbinsville. Boxed up one finally further down channel in 90'. Let another just keeper swim another day to ward off potential shrinkage. Moved over to Oakwood and were treated to Sturgeon aerials to within 10' of Ya Sista's A$$. Very cool, repeated high tumbling leaps up like 2-3' in the air from a prehistoric lookin creature. More short fluke drifting SE towards RS light.  Heading westward we came into the mother of all bunker pods they were everywhere finning and jumping too. Nothing under them. Head back for some football and blue rock. Amazing weather and fishing consistently $hitty as it has been for us all year. Great time with great friends.

PS mystery bait: full strip, thick cut.....
BACON, we all caught fluke with it
Bacon /Gulp! was producing like a champ too

At least you were able to ward off potential shrinkage with the water temp at 68  :P
Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
