WOW, what can I say . . .
For once, I am almost speechless
We had the most amazing fishing trip I have EVER been on. It was CONSTANT from the moment we arrived, and the fish were still biting when we left.
When we arrived, we started to drift in between two HUGE schools of bunker just boilng on the surface and within mere minutes, ALL four of us were hooked up at the same time and we ALL landed our fish. There were 3 or 4 more times during the evening when we were all hooked up at the same time and had to dance around each other, something, by the way, we did very well ;D
The action continued ALL evening. There were times when the bass, several of them, would follow the bait right up to the boat. And we could see the bass jumping on the bunker. What a sight to see. I have to say, that after the great trip a few of the NJHunter guys had two Fridays ago, I couldn't even imagine such an event, but it happened tonight and it was just unbelievable.
jafgasa (Chris) landed what I believe was a 47 lber, and I landed a 40 lber. Sam and Bacs (Brian) also landed some really big fish (I am sure over 40 lbs as well), but things were so crazy and so constant that we didn't get to weigh everything that went back in. I was looking to beat my personal best of 42 lbs, so I made sure that my bigger ones got weighed before they went back. I personally threw back a 35 and a 38 lber, not to mention many other smaller ones. Can you say OMG? Between all of us, I believe we caught and release well over 50 fish tonight.
Thumbs up to you Capt Dan and mate Jimmy of Reel Music Charters for finally getting this monkey off my back and not only putting us on the stripers, but for such an AMAZING evening.

Outstanding catch. That is something every angler has to experience at least once in a life time. Doesn't have to be strictly for bass, but for any type of fish.
Great job in landing them monsters when all were hooked up. t^

Hey, where were you fishing? North ,South, East, West? Deep, Shallow , NJ, NY, ???? We love detailed reports here at NJSALTWATERFISHERMAN.COM , we do help each other out, which is why the site was created. Most of us do provide locations of where we fished, both good and bad reports , to help other members. Again, great catch, and congratulations. <'(((((><

All I know is that we started from the Atlantic Highlands and that there was water on one side of the boat and land on the other, and lots of really big squiggly things on the fish finder (Does that sound blond enough?) :-*
Actually, you'd have to ask Capt Dan. I don't know enough about the waters or coordinates.

That is wild. Hope we get to see pics. I'm waiting for some pics from Capt Dan of the 35 and 38 that I released. I will post them when I get them.

Nice Job. Good for you Guys

Seriously guys and gals, I don't have a boat, never drove a boat, been out 18 times this year, mostly on party boats, and the buildings on the shore ALL look the same to me. I do know we headed south. I honestly couldn't tell you if we drove 15 minutes or half an hour, and it wouldn't matter because I know there was one motor on the boat, but what size, I haven't a clue. It was a charter.
