Are you back at Capt Mike's again this year?

We limited out on bass on Tuesday and also did well on drum. Good spring so far. I just need to find me a boat SOON.    rgmn

Yes I am back at Capt. Mikes again this year. I went down yesterday to check my dock lines and got a good report of striper and drum. I can not wait to get back out. I thought I was going on Sunday but I forgot it was Mother's Day. cfzd

Put the boat in late Friday night. Saturday went down but bailed with the fog and blow out tides. Sunday we did a shake down run/fishing trip. The weather was less then steller. WE anchored in a few spots and fed the doggies. 20 big sand sharks 1 spider crab and 1 horseshoe crab is all we could muster. I cant wait for Saturday to do some fluking.

We have been picking up some nice fluke right outside Capt Mikes. It is tough to throw then back. They are there for sure.

I am still searching for a boat. It is a good thing my friend purchased mine.

I will not be out Saturday, I have to referee a crew regatta Friday and Saturday. I am shooting for Sunday or Monday.  "Live Bait" is sold and has a new name " Quick Release" I am hooking rides on my old boat until I find a new boat.

Do you use shad darts with the bobbers?

How do you rig the shad dart, bucktail combo? I have always used just a shad dart and the bobber.

Oh, OK.  I was wondering how you did both? Though I was missing out on a secret rig.

How is the new boat running?
