Still waiting for the Yak...
« on: April 10, 2009, 11:39:53 PM »
Well I spent part of the morning putting the Hullavator together and I have to tell you that is one great piece of equipment.  Not hard to put on and I am glad I bought it as trying to put the kayak on top of the Expedition would probably be a little chore.

I will be calling the JP in the morning to see what's up with the boat and when I can expect delivery.

There is one thing I'm going to add to the install and that is a set of locks.  The whole unit can be taken off in a matter of a couple of minutes if there is no deterrent there.  It won't stop a real thief but at least I know the average fisherman will probably not tough it with locks in place.

I am so close I can taste it already.

Yeah I guess the one with the site will work just fine.  I can be out in the yak and take a shot from out there and no one will ever notice...

As far as the candy store yeah a couple of Saturdays ago but this waiting is killing me.  I want to be out there sooooo bad I can taste it.  Everything is ready all I need is the beat.  :P

Remember Paul, it's...stroke left, stroke right, stroke left, stroke right...if you confuse them and get too many of the same side in a row you will only manage to spin in a tight circle.  TT^

You have now been waiting about three weeks. It takes us three hours to get them ready, Including lights and fishfinders. I did two yesterday. If in a few weeks they still dont have it ready I would look around up there for another dealer.
