6-13-10 1st cast curse
« on: June 13, 2010, 11:31:59 AM »
Early morning trip today  thud  Out of the house something like 4:30
Started in SSP around daybreak and moved to Gillkins after a while.  Tide incoming (high at 0840hrs) winds light and varying west / south.  Lots of cabbage in the water, but other water was clear.
Bunker, clams, plugs on the menu.
Had 1 blue on the first cast.  One other hit & miss later on.
Only other thing I saw was a few skates and bunker close enough to snag.
Nice morning to be out on the beach  TT^

Looks like there's still some nice fish in the area and there is definitely a lot of bait.  Nothing is real consistent though.  Hopefully it continues for a little longer.  I'm gonna try to get out again Monday or Tuesday.

If I do tomorrow it'll be evening.  Maybe even Ortley for a change of pace.
Depends on how bad therapy is tomorrow.  I'll let ya know in the afternoon.
