Raritan Bay evening 11-5-14

I've been wanting to get out after all the crappy weather. After work I had alittle daylight left so decided to go trolling solo.  I pulled out of Keyport around 4:30pm , sunsets at 4:46,  water temp 52 to 54 Deg in bay with a light west wind, high tide was approaching at 6:15pm. From Keyport Bouy 1 I head towards the Reach 16 and set out a single Maja spoon chartreuse/Green in the middle of the bay 25' deep. I trolled the 16, 18, 20 towards upper bay and back down inside Keyport bouy 1 covering depths from 25 to 17'.   I marked schools of bait but nothing under them.  No fish today, Back at the marina at 6:45pm.  Let's see what happens this weekend. t^

they are all over the surf down by Seaside.. The surf guys are hammering them.
