Another mixed week with mainly cautious to hazardous water conditions. Showers are possible Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sunday Night into Monday will be the most organized rain with the possibility of some thunderstorms. Highs will range from the 50’s to 60’s with lows in the 30’s to 50’s. Water conditions will be cautious to hazardous all week, except Sunday should see good inshore conditions. Surf and beach conditions will be good to borderline. Water temperatures are in the 50’s to 60’s.

Halloween/Trick or Treat Forecast – For anyone in Toms River that Trick or Treats on Tuesday, the weather will be great. Very little chances of rain/showers. Highs will be in the 50’s with lows in the 40’s. For everyone else Halloween will be mostly dry. There is a lower chance of showers and this chance is greatest for Northern NJ. Highs on Wednesday will be in the 60’s with lows only in the 50’s.

A low pressure system will dig southeast from the upper Mid West into our region tomorrow. High pressure is expected to build over our region through at least Tuesday night. A cold front is expected to stall just northwest of our region on Wednesday. The next cold front to sweep through our region is expected to do so on Friday.

Hurricane Oscar is out in the Atlantic and will continue to move away from the US.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!
