new guy
« on: May 29, 2007, 12:14:48 PM »
hi everybody :) i've been lurking around the last few days and have been enjoying all the fish talk! this is a great place to keep up to date with info! my friend captain mike and I come out of tuckerton/LEI on a 25' parker. we also like to support our local charter boats and steam out on the miss beach haven and doris mae. it's always a great day or night of fishing and a relief on our own fuel bill.

Welcome Aboard hareball,

There is no other site out there that will give you information like this site will.  Miss Beach Haven has posted many times and has only added good reports from the wheel house.

If you have any question about anything related to NJ fishing there is someone out there that can and will help you.

Again welcome aboard, and enjoy... t^

hi captain joe :)

very much ezcept for the cabin! we still have to deal with canvas and glass though. I was at a aquarium fish convention in chicago last july when my buddy called and told me he found a parker. I was so excited!
it would be great if parker would put out a 34'-36' with diesel. with the 25' we are somewhat hesitant to go to the canyon with only 200 gallons on the boat.

Parker does have the 28'er now.  Sweet boats they are.  No frills, nothing in the way, just pure cockpit.    t^

definitly, when we went out to cecil marine last week to wash and prep the boat for launch I took a look at the 28'er and the deck was awesome! I also heard rumors of a 32' while at the boat show this winter.

the guy at cecil told us parker does do some diesel but they are very rare.

The boat in the slip next to mine back in the mid 90's was a 25' with a diesel.  The engine hatch was pretty much in the way though.  I don't know when they stopped with the diesel.
