Capt. Ed

The little women either batter dips and fry's or bakes in oven or on grill with a little butter, salt/pepper.

We also smoke them, have a homemade smoker (25 gal drum) not the same as whiting but good.

Also ling is good in fish chowder, boil them until the are flakey, strain and dry, make a  cream sause like new england chowder with potatos, onions, celary, bacon bits, this chowder is great :) ;) ;D

I soak my fillets in lemon then its real simple. I take the filets and just dredge them in a flour and Adobo mix then fry.. they come out very light and flaky,, a real tasty and simple way to eat them..
I spend 90% of my time fishing, The rest I just waste..
