Big D 5/4
« on: May 05, 2008, 02:36:00 PM »
Headed down to the river for a couple of hours and fished the top of the tide into 2 hours of the outgoing tide, The River is in Great shape, and the herring think with catching a triple header no problem. The big problem is with the  herring  so think, convinceing a Srtiper to hit your livelined bait. I managed to boat a Shad that hit a Storm shad, which was a first for me haveing a Shad hit a lure of that size, and a bit exciting since they become acrobatic. I also seen a guy pushing his luck in a 26ft Grady White ventureing up above the Trenton bridges. If you want Herring for bait, NOW IS THE TIME  t^

Yeah, nice boats. But the Trenton rocks is no place to be playing with one of them. Twins on it, twice as much damage when you hit a boulder.  :P
