Pulled out of Keyport late 3:45pm to nice conditions with Chris (Cashin) Steve (Massbaster) and Matt. Low tide was coming soon at 5:45. I was heading towards Ambrose channel when we came across a bunch of gannets working on spearing that were being chased by cocktail Blues. We caught a bunch of Blues and kept a few for strip bait. We fluked the area for awhile caught some shorts and Matt pulled in a keeper Fluke. Moved over to Ambrose and caught shorts,Skates and sea Robbins. We tried over by the TC buoy with the same results. I made one more move but still Skates, searobbins and shorts. Called it a day and we met up with the girls and went out for some Mexican food. chrz
