My buddy and I fished the river today for 3hrs of "in" and 2 hrs of "out". We used Gulp and Spros, as has been my standard for almost 2 yrs. We only managed one nice 2 3/4 lb keeper and a whole LOAD of shorts. AGAIN, as I throw back these GORGEOUS 15+ inch fluke that would be GREAT at the dinner table, BUT ONLY if I went to the Crab Shack to buy them, I wonder.............WHERE'S the EQUITY? Why can I buy it BUT can't catch and keep it??? I can't wait till next year when only a doormat will probably be THE keeper!!!

Welcome aboard Bukman t^ Thanks for the report ;) Yes next year will be a joke! Plus they keep telling us that the "Mortality rate is going up for released fish" When that's the majority of what recreation fisherman are catching, Fish that are undersized and have to be released!!!!! In the words of the comedian
Carlos Mencia "DEE DEE DEE DEE"

Nice Day! I fished the same time and was lucky to have two keepers. My son had a blast....alot of shorts and robins. A few starfish and two stargazers. Beautiful day, full of action. A few hours south in Maryland and a lot of those shorts would have been in the box. I hope to repeat this day soon!!!
