Barnegat Tog Fishing | Phyllis Ann
« on: November 23, 2008, 07:48:16 PM »
Met Capt Mike,Capt Joe and Bob Hareball at the boat this morning.. Green crabs were on the menu.  Broke thru/ the ice at the marina and punched out the inlet to a predetermined location on the Barnegat Reef around 7:30 Am.

Once locked over our Structure it wasn't but 10 minutes until the bite started..  Capt Mike and Capt Joe took off with a hefty lead and had their limits in no time.. Bob and I brought up the rear and the Boat closed the day with a limit.

Finished the day marking fish with a few short stripers.  A great day with a great Knowledgeable Crew t^

Great day of fishing on the Phyllis Ann. As Hotrod said, once hooked up, it was a steady catch all day.  Biggest was around 6-7 pounds. Several of them brought aboard today.

Great job Capt.  t^ Ya done good.  TT^

One casuality for the day...Capt Joe's Lamiglas when hooked up with the bottom. Man was that a mad-dog bite.  TT^

Nice report.  Sounds like you guys had a great day.
From the sand it looked busy out there today.  Looked like a small city on the horizon.

Good going guys.  Sorry to hear about the rod Joe.  There were fleets all around today from the Manasquan Inlet to the Barnagate Inlet.  It seemed that everything was just off shore.

Again good going guys... t^ grtn

Hopefully you're going to ship that broken rod back to Lamiglas or bring it back to your dealer.  I haven't dealt with Lamiglas, but from what I have heard about them, they will replace that for you! t^

Yeah, I would have loved to go.  But, it was either Friday or Sunday for me.  Luckily, Friday didn't turn out too bad for us at all!  t^

I'd like to go again.  Hopefully, I'll be able to get out with you guys before the boat is put to bed. ;D

Hey Joe,

Did you ever send that broken Lami back for a replacement?  Just curious if they took care of you.

I took it back to my buddy with the warehouse. Waiting on the word from Lamiglas if he will be given credit for it. I haven't checked back on it yet. Probably will check next week. t^
