Nice day of catching Capt Jerry.
Those monkfish are some nasty looking things. We got one a few years ago, cleaned it, put the head with carcass on the dock and the seagulls would not go near it. TT^

Another amazing slaughter. t^ To funny, my brother called on the water today and was trying to figure out when he's going to take you guys up on the charter he won at the dinner. He'll be in touch.
Good going guys.

I had the pleasure of being one of the anglers on this trip. Captains Jerry and Wayne run a great charter boat and sure go the extra mile to put their customers on DA MEAT. TT^
ENDANGERED dogfish my ass. nts It used to be if you caught a dogfish you were not on the wreck. Not any more, they were so thick on some of the spots it was depressing. You did not want to set the hook because you knew it was going to be a doggie. Thanks to their knowledge of fishing we made a long run to another area and had drop and reel sea bass fishing with most of them being keepers and only 2 doggies in about 3 hours.
I had never seen a live Monkfish in my life. Damn, are they ugly. The weirdest part besides the teeth was that they have FEET. I have attached a picture for you to see.
Thanks again Jerry and Wayne for a great day of fishing Monger style. We also were busting each other all day which made it even more of a great trip as everyone aboard had a great sense of humor and did not take anything said to heart. rofla
