Raritan Bay 10/31
« on: October 31, 2007, 08:50:16 PM »
Had a tough start with a major traffic problem on route 18.  Then no bait at the marina so a ride to Julians was in order.  Finally got out on the water and tried Flynn's knoll, no good.  Went to Romer and also no good.  Tried between the channels and no good.  Went to the clam beds and guess what, no good.  Finally went to the SHR and caught about 25 porgies and two keeper sea bass.  Still a lot better than working.

Sometimes it takes a while to find the fish.  Way to stick it out Dave.   t^
