Another snake for the Tog trip

So, as you may know from my previous posts, I've been playing with skin inlays a lot lately...I've  had this blank sitting here, so to burn off some excess energy waiting to get out Toggin with the boyz, I spun this up this past week..Plus , I picked up a real nice piece of skin on ebay recently, and been dying to use it.. unlike the dry,  raw skins I usually get, this  had some kinda finish on it..I think it may have been prepped for taxidermy or something.. so the color and markings really stood out. whatever it had been treated with made it supple and slightly elastic, so it was real easy to work with.. I was a bit concerned that whatever it was treated with would react negatively with the rod finish.. but it came thru without a hitch..
Blank = Seeker Hercules 7'2' inshore lite
Grips turned using Mudhole's 2-color  burnt/burl cork rings
Amtak Virtus Lite guides (Spiral wrapped)
Fuji #18 trigger seat

That would be a cool donation for a door prize Mark. Plus it would give me a new bucket to put my loosing tickets in at the dinner, as we all know Rod's family wins everything.  :P  ;D
