Left Sr Inlet at midnight with a crew of Danny(the Pitboss), Kirk(the Finisher) and the Orange Country Crew of Wayne, Jeff and Ted. Arrived at the Hudson in the dark and set out our spread. Had our 1st yellowfin come up and we were 1 for 1 with a 40# class fish in the boat still in the dark. Trolled around and had 4 yellowfin come up and we were tight on 3 but had a hook break off one of the rigs - 2 for 4. That would be all for the yellowfins as we came tight on 2 Eyeballs at 0900 - one on a 30 and one on a 50. With much rod passing, cursing, sweating and spinning in circles we put both fish in the boat. They would later weigh in gutted at 207 and 209 respectively. The fish were caught on Sterling Tackle Spreader Bars and meat. Much thanks to the Captain and crew of the Janice for their Hudson Canyon ice delivery - we owe you guys. God Bless America and God Bless Our Troops.!!
