Hunter 2 Sundays trip in the Raritan
« on: April 27, 2008, 06:48:28 PM »

We head out in the Raritan today at 6:20 AM. We picked up around 35 Bluefish and 4 Stripers both trolling and drifting Bunker and clams. We used Manns Stretch 25+ lures in Red And White. 2 stripers were around 32" and 2 were around 27". The blues were between 8 and 15 Lbs. we had a great day.  chrz

Yeah, Its a shame I dont like to eat the blues or have another use for them. I had some biggies on my light Shimano tackle. that was fun.  The Stiper fillets are in the oven now. ;D

I know what you mean I am the only one that will eat the blues so I usually throw them back or give them away.  But all in all your day sounded great.

Happy Catching
