grtn Family~ So I was getting worried thinking I forgot how to catch fish but Sat with Michael my bro and bestestestet friend finally landed two keepers with a zillion shorts! Lots of action and fun NO DOUBT!                              Started earrrrrrrrrly. I was up at 4am to meet him for our D&D coffee at 5. Well, on the way, there were a couple girls stranded on the side of the road, ran outta gas. How could I not stop and help. What if it was any of my nieces or nephews? I would have hoped someone stopped for them so I did. I ran back home, got one of my smaller gas cans and took them (quickly since Michael was waiting   thud ) too get a couple gallons of gas. Told them to keep the can and I was off. Hey we may not be able to save the world, but we certainly can be nice and help each other.                                                                                                                                      Finally left the dock round 6ish and I crossed over the RB and fished hard pulling short after short after short up. FINALLY hooked up and got that nice lil feeling in my belly and said to Michael, 'Get the Net' He said, 'Yea Capt. feels like a good one' and it sure was; 22' and fat!  msfsh We fished around the hook then shot over to Earl where he managed his first keeper at 17.5! Tide was rippin but we managed to hold with 8. Called it a day around 1 and just about got MR FISH in the slip. With the full HUGE moon, it just about sucked all the water outta the creek and I docked right in the mud. Luckily I can hang out in about 2ft. and had my engine up high so I did good! Hope ya'll had a great weekend! Not sure what's on my agenda today but the tides on its was out again now, if you're not back in before 2 chances are you'll be back in the mud. Well, my area anyway!  Talk with everyone soon! slt

Way to go, Trish  msfsh  I was out fishing by Sandy Hook for a few hours on Saturday too.  We only managed one keeper out of 20.  The super moon low tide did make dock a bit of challenge.
