WOW!!  CONGRATS!!  That is really awesome.  Only fishing less than half the Tournament and taking all those keepers to win in 1 day.  51# is a lot of meat.

Congrats, Really nice job.

Were you out there that Saturday in the blow? I was anchored up taking them across the bow big time. Never again will I do something that stupid.

Yes I was out there yesterday and today and it was a tad snotty. Friday we went 2 for 12 to about 15lbs and today we went 2 for 5 to 20lbs. If you want to about snotty, last Sunday was flat out brutal.

Today a 30 foot c/c took on water and flipped in the in the inlet. Both passengers were rescued but the boat went down. Very sad indeed.
This too shall pass.

Nice catch again!

I didn't realize it was that bad out there...thought it was subsiding a bit!  Glad everyone was rescued and OK.  Stinks the boat didn't make out well.  Hopefully they had good insurance.

Cleared LEI @ 530 am and it was like a lake. Headed North to jig under the birds off Brant Beach. Sun came up and the birds were working hard. Landed so many 8 - 10 pd blues our arms were tired. Landed 5 small stripers that are under the blues. Needed to be back at the dock at 10 so we made one last stop when we saw some more birds working. We were the only boat there and we jigged up 2 Stripers 30 and 34 inchs

Seas were flat, awesome day on the water.

I hit the inlet three days in a row 9th, 10th and 11th and only managed 2 shorts on the 11th.  Guess I just didn't have the touch.  As an aside, please be careful out there near that white water, I'm a Coastie and I frequently have to fly out in some really bad weather to save folks who should know better.  Off my soapbox now, Congrats to all the keepers!  Keep up the good work!

Arrived at the marina at sunrise to catch the incoming tide but we were really socked in with the fog. It was the first time I had to rely on the chartplotter to feel our way around. Tried one of our favorite spots in the bay for about one hour with no luck. Headed to the inlet and anchored up. No sooner did we have lines in the water and the fish were on. Lost two, four shorts, and four keepers (28 to 38 inches)
Back at the dock @ 1130 for a Boddington and a my cigar.

Left the at 6 AM. Headed out for the bars but with the forecast and fog decided to fish some safer waters and hope for the best. Limited out in pretty quickly with 4 keepers from 34 to 37 inches. Hung out a while looking for my bonus tag fish but called it a day when the tide died at around 10:30. Striper Cakes anyone. chrz
