I'm taking my annual vacation in Wildwood starting tomorrow. grtn
I'm hoping to get some fishing in while we're there, despite the forecast.
If anyone has any suggestions on good land based locations in the area, please share (by post or PM).
Looking to stay south of the Hereford Inlet. I was looking at maybe Sunset Beach, the Canal, inlet in N. Wildwood or from the sand in WW or Cape May. But that's all based on looking at the map, which doesn't always tell the whole story. I read the recent Fisherman article about Townsend Inlet, but I don't really want to travel that far this week.
Thanks guys

The easiest place to fish would be at the rock wall (inlet in North Wildwood)..The very end of New York Ave past the McDonalds. I would stop by Jersey Bait and tckle which is right there for bait and more info. You can get tog in the rocks there and some blues may be around chasing mullet.

Took a ride to Hereford Inlet and Townsend Inlet today. To windy to even stand on the seawall no less to to cast.
Will try again tomorrow or Saturday. At least it didn't rain today like the weather idiots said it would.
