Gonna make this real quick - exhausted. Did the 4:30-8:30 thing again today. Broke the inlet at around 445 and got the call from Jerry that it was going off so we raced to the south of our inlet. We arrived at the very tail end of a wide open bite of big bass blasting bunker out of the water, right on top - a mini-blitz of sorts. We got our plugs in the water, and got into fish - Tom Breeland nailed a beautiful 35# fish on a white/red pencil.
That action was short lived for us however. Thereafter, things went downhill. Those fish spread out, so we ran north to look for bunker, and didn't get into them until we got to Belmar. We spent the better part of the last 2 hours of the trip livelining to no avail around pods and on some lumps which produced yesterday. Ran as far north as Asbury. Didn't even have a runoff on the bunker.
S wind really kicked in, once it started getting snippy, things shut off.
Pics will be on the site sunday - camera is in the boat.
