Me and my 16 year old son caught a dozen stripers between us friday morning, we started out battling thru the fog to get on the ocean side of sandy hook. Soon as you could see thru the early morning fog the action started it was a rat race chasing the fast moving schools, good thing my fast small 18 foot boat enabled me to blast over to fish some areas before the fleet got there. Finally on my way in i found a little better size fish that stayed put more on the bay side nothing over 12 lbs was still a fun morning.
BTW thanks for the tip Down Deep Bull t^
