A wet week for weather, but a more settled week on the water overall. This week will be wet. Anywhere from 1-4 inches of rain could fall across the state in the next five days. Rain will start on Sunday Night and continue into Monday. Rain could be heavy at times and a thunderstorm is possible. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will have showers possible all day. Friday will have scattered showers possible early, as rain and clouds end and begin to clear out for the weekend. Highs will be in the 60’s and 70’s with 50’s overnight. Monday Night/Tuesday will have patchy fog. Water conditions will be borderline to cautious. Winds will not be a big problem with winds 15-20 knots max. However seas will  push 5 feet and even 6 feet at times on the ocean. Bays and rivers will be less. Water temperatures have increased into the mid and upper 50’s on the ocean and into the mid 60’s for shallower waters. UV Index will be Low to Very High at 0-9/15.

Low pressure tracks across southeastern Canada tonight through Monday. An associated cold front will move through our area later Monday, then stall just offshore through Tuesday. An area of low pressure moves across our area Wednesday morning, followed by a cold front late Wednesday night and Thursday morning. High pressure will build in from the southwest late Friday into Saturday, then it shifts offshore into Sunday.

Have a great week and thanks for reading!
