Got to the boat at about 3pm. Stiff, choppy seas, but made our way to the clam beds to anchored up.
I got my limit of Stripers and my bonus fish, all 30" plus a bunch of nice size bluefish.
Uncle Luna wasn't doing so good, so I gave him a tip and the very next cast, he banged a shorty, but it was the target species. It happend to be a little to late because by the time he found his game, the tide went slack high and the fishing shut down completely.
Weather wise, the day finished off very nice, wind died down to nice flat seas by the time we made it to the dock.

Just got home from work I used the striped bass to make that Puttenesca recipe I posted a week or so ago, it was outstanding anyone who want's to try it don't use the 1/4 cup olive oil it calls for just use about 2 tbls. I did not make it with the potatoes I used thin spaghetti 2 lbs worked well really delicious. Had to drop Nick off a dish since he supplied the stripers, also 2 28 oz. cans of plum tomatoes chopped and one can 28 oz tomato sauce will make enough sauce with 2 striper fillets cut in 1 in cubes
