Engine issues

I am having some random issues with my oil pressure sensor for my 4 stroke 225hp Yamaha engines.

Of course every time I am filling up in my marina the sensor doesn't go off.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Year of the motor?  Give me more detail on what's going on Brian. Motor off? Idling? In gear? etc etc etc
