Want to go gout on a part boat tomorrow 3/27
« on: March 26, 2011, 09:46:37 AM »
Hey I was thinking of going out on a party boat tomorrow 3/27.  I have all the gear to surf fish, but I guess it is too early for that.  I also really don't know the back bay spots...I live in Barnegat and usually go out of Barnegat Light.  Any one out there have recommendations?  I could drive up north a little bit...I took up surf fishing bc going out on the party boats has not paid off for me for a long time.  I just have the itch and I am driving my wife nuts watching versus all day.

Short version: Need recommendations for a good boat that has been catching fish
New to surf fishing...

If you don't find a party boat, you could always wet a line at the Oyster Creek discharge to scratch that itch.  Not sure what's been going on over there lately.  Water temps have dropped a bit with this chill we've had.  Also check out the Sands Point thread.  These places are both kinda close to you.
