Headed to the boat with the intention of tweeking a few things before she goes in....until my buddy stopped by and said he was going out on his clam boat with a couple people we know.....so much for the boat work!
headed up the navesink first, anchored on the west side of the bridge....nada....gettin hammered by a stiff south east wind we decided to go back to the shrewsbury on the sea bright side by the quay for the end of incoming. conditions were better but not the fishing...chumming hard and nada again....shifted to the highlands side of the river for the beginning of the outgoing....2 fish right away but for the next hour....u guessed it!....nada
current was screaming and the wind picked up again...headed for the barn!
atleast it wasnt a skunkaroo!!!!!!!!!
