Headed to the south for a day of blackfishing... Greg Vongas, Mike Gottog, Joe Jigs Cool hand Al , Rich and Don rounded out the crew.
Headed down the beach but once we got off the seas got a little bouncy.
Got setup on our first piece... Not to many bites... Couple of shorts... Couple of keepers... Scratchy non committing bite... waited it out for a while and shifted around but never got em going few more keepers and shorts.
Moved around to a Bunch of different pieces... But never really seen the life we had the other day... One spot had a bunch of shorts but only yielded a few more keepers.
Between the wind in the am and the current in the pm anchoring was a chore today... Pulled my hair out searching for some good life but all we did was pick a few fish from each spot.
Slow day of fishing... 3 +pack day
By days end we wound up with 14 Keepers in the Box.
Congrats to Richy who was able to land his 4 fish and Beat out Joe ( Double Limit hot line has been dis connected).
Great Crew Just wish we had some More Fish!!!
