Fish Monger Fluke 7/16
« on: July 16, 2010, 08:12:05 PM »
Had Tiny Tims Charter today, Andrew and Bob the flukaholics back for another along with Chuck, Greg Vongas, and Mr 1/2 Day Stellios.

Headed back up to the fluke grounds. Started out with nice conditions had some Nice Keepers right away along with shorts on our first few Drifts.

Bob Was a Bucktailing machine and he was on fire he had he Limit by 9:45 am. The other guys Boxed up some keepers as well... we had alot of shorts and just misses.

The action was good but wouldnt last... the south wind slowly came on harder and harder making the drift get very fast and making it tough on the tackle in the rough stuff.

Picked a Few more fish until it picked up even more and became practically unfishable even in 30 Ft of water.

Decided to start our bumpy ride back .

When we got in we decided finished up with a hour of fluking in the river... Had some good scenery and Picked at a load of shorts.Tim bagged 1 More keeper before we called it a day.

By days end the guys boxed up 18 Keeper Fluke and 2 seabass... Nothing real big but nice 18-21 Inchers.

Action was good early in the ocean shame the wind came on so hard or it would have been even better day!!! Not Complaining we were more than happy with our nice box of fish!!!

Great Crew lotsa fun!!! Thanks again guys!!!!!

Nice job as usual Jer and Wayne
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
