Hit the mid-island surf late yesterday and was greeted by a junior bluefish blitz. Cocktail blues had schools of rainfish pinned up on the shore as they were washing up right on to my feet. I had non stop action on anything I threw at them until the sun went down. Yet another good preview of the fall run.

Nice Z!

Thanks guys
It's a nice change to wear shorts and a t-shirt opposed to bootfoot neoprene waders and two sweatshirts while fishing in october!

I hear that. I was freezing on the overnight, and sweating in the daylight up in Mecca. I didn't even mind the leaky waders except for the heavy-footed walking on the rocks. rgmn

Luckily my $60 e-bay waders have held up pretty well, gave up spending hundreds when the end results a squishy foot. Although I do miss having breathables when the sun heats things up :headscra:
