Gave it one last shot on the Striper's today...Searched all points of the compass and only managed 2 fish (both caught by the same guy)! Plenty of bait, read some life, just not many takers.
Ended the day with some jig fish in the channel...Will be tied up the next two days, then it's on to Fluke fishing.
Gerry Krakow had the Big Pool Winning Striper this season at 25 pounds. Our largest this spring was 31 pounds followed by a 29 1/2, neither one was in the big pool.
Fluke fishing from Thursday on, 3/4 day. Afternoon fishing for Blues and Bass 3:30pm till 9:30pm. The new schedule will be posted next week for the afternoon fishing. Thanks, Capt.ron
