Tom and I were out on Sandy Hook Bay this morning trying to find a pocket of keeper Fluke that are getting harder to find. We fished all our usual holes only to find two keepers near the Shrewsbury Channel.
I guess its time to start looking towards the ocean soon with only a couple of weeks left in the shortened season. There were very few Sea Robins around all were on the small side and no Bluefish. All the Killies in our holding trap were dead this morning probably due to very warm water in our slip meaning we had to rely on artificial bait today. Pete
