Sailed with my Mate Ed and good friend John today for a fun trip. The Intent was to Tog but on the ride down south, we passed a lot of bird life so spent some time jigging. Managed way too many gator Blues with short bass. Only managed to box 2 keepers before leaving the bite to go togging. The spiny dogfish have also showed in force too. Unfortunately having the bass limited my options on the Tog. Bounced around covering a lot of water. Could only muster 5 keepers and in the neighborhood of 20 shorts. Every spot we had gave up a few fish right away and then went cold.
