Morning started out with a shot of nice fish. Conditions went to hell with the current and the wind, not to mention the downpour for a couple of hours!
Had to wait like yesterday for things to get right. When it did, the bite was on!
John froelich, Capt.Ron Sr. had their limits followed by Jim and a couple others with 4 keepers. All very nice fish up to 6 pounds. Gregory had 2 in the box at 4 and 5 1/2 pounds.
Highlight of the day goes to TOM "The VET" who has worked hard all season looking for the Big one. Today he was rewarded with a New Big Pool Leading fish at Nine Pounds Four Ounces, just under 30 inches long!
Amazing how a few drifts at the right time can make the day. Buck tailing was the ticket once again. I fished with Bait for 3 drifts and never had a bite!
Still lot's of Big fish around, the pool is still up for grabs and Tom will be back tomorrow to give it another shot.
CHARTERED SATURDAY MORNING.
Capt. Ron
