Title: 5/17 back bay to front bay
Post by: kpcoe on May 17, 2017, 07:16:17 PM
First striper(32 inch) caught within first 5 minutes in the way back bay, thought we going to have a banner day, well after hours of line resets from debris and only one other big striper lost halfway to boat decided to head out.  From mid bay the troll started and ended up at Romers with 3 blues caught and 3 that spit the hook.  Many many miles trolled and we thru the kitchen sink at them too...better days to come. where da bunker at? chrz

fcp It was tough . Caught a lot of big blues on chunks .Ben got them last night high in the Navesink river . He said their so thick back there you can walk on them . With this heat there will probably be another fish kill .Real shallow back there . Fluke will be open soon ,then we will have some thing new to complain about .Such is life .
