Anyone running this....https://www.bluesea.com/products/7650/Add-A-Battery_Kit_-_120A
Making some changes this winter to the boats electrical setup. Want to get away from the 1-both-2-off guest batt switch.

I have this setup. One switch for starting, one switch for the house battery and the third switch combines both for emergency use. Didn't pay that much when I purchased it a couple of years ago. Don't know if this is the price for them now or if you can get them cheaper.
Seems like the switch you posted does pretty much the same thing.

Saw that switch as well Ayes. On the fence as what I want to do.
Like I said, been running the old school batt switch for a years. New-to-me boat needs some tweaking IMO in the electrical dept.
Just want some input on what guys are running on their dual batt setups.

I like to keep it simple. Less to go wrong and leave you stranded. I watched our budd mboy lose his Sh!t when his electronic combiner setup that he touted so highly crapped out and left him with both dead on a few occasions. I recommend to stick with the tried and true manual OFF-1-BOTH-2 setup. Heavy duty Perko if possible. Done and done.

I have the old school setup too. Usually have them set to both and ever touch it. I'll bet Matt from Task Marine has more knowledge in the area. t^

Thanks guys. I've been on the 1-off-2 batt switch for years. Always worked well. Was looking to do a little tweaking this off season.
Want to rewire a few things besides the batts...too many questions for now ;D

I myself have the simple 1-2-both battery switch and have never had a problem. As mentioned above, simple can be better. I really have not came across any boats with the Blue Seas System in it so I can't comment on its reliability although Blue Seas has always been highly regarded in there products.
I'm relocating my battery switch for easier access this winter and installing new batteries in the spring. I may consider this BSS kit myself.
