05/10/08 Reel Music Fishing Charters . . .

Fished yesterday with Captain Dan and acting mate Captain John of Reel Music Fishing Charters, in the NewJerseyHunter.com Striperthon.  Our crew consisted of NJHunter members Kevin Martin (Bayonne), Kjell Eriksen (jersey hunter), Richard Rojo (red65) and myself, Robin Egbert (ms grit).

They filled the livewells with one throw right at the launch and made a bunch of stops on a ton of marks but the bass just didnt want to chew.

They made quite a few moves both drifting and chunking trying to get them going but for the most part of the day the bass were biting light and dropping the bait quick. We had a alot of swings and misses in the morning, and in the afternoon we started to get consitant on the blues and we finally got a couple nice drifts and we picked up a few bass.

We released most of the blues, and kept three bass for the box, the heaviest weight 22 lbs, 6 oz.

Captain Dan went above and beyond for us, giving it his all.  We did not return to the dock until 5:15.  Way to go Reel Music Fishing Charters  t^ t^ t^
