It was a good time! I left around 1:00 I think. Didn't catch anything but that doesn't matter. Going back tonight after work for a little while, if anyone else is going let me know! Probably be there around 10-1030.

It was nice to see everyone again. Sorry I didn't pay attention to the tide when we set the date. We toughed it out and stayed after everyone was gone waiting for the tide to come in. At dead on 2 am my brother hooked into a monster shark. Not haveing a scale to weigh its hard to tell but this fish was over 120lbs. We could barley pic it up. He faught it for 45 mins and we got some great pics. As soon as I receive them in a email we will get them up. Biggest fish I have ever seen caught on the beach it was almost unrealistic for a jersey beach. It was as long as I am tall just about and heavy heavy. We stayed for about an hour after he was landed but everyone was beat. Next week with the tides right and the new moon shark action will be on the money. I will post more when I get the pics. It was great to see everyone again.

Glad you got something Ken  t^

While the catching was slow last night, it was a great night on the sand with great company.  The wife and I had a very nice night.  And it was good to see everyone again.

A big thank you to Ken for organizing the night and providing shark gear.  Thanks bud.  chrz  That brief moment that I was hooked into whatever it was, was a great feeling.

Ken that is great... t^ t^ t^.  I knew if everyone left the magic would happen, good going.

Ranger79, we would of welcomed you in regardless, you can pop in at any of our outings.  Newbie or not, just be ready for a lot of laughs and a great time.  But look out you might even learn something, I know I do at every outing.

Happy Catching

The only Problem we had.. is we were too spread out..  Let's keep it tighter next time.. part my fault also.

tight is good for chatting, but tight will bring in tangles while fishing..

Yea.. they gave me a hard time from the time I hit the gate..  then they happen to stop at my "party" and give us a hard time that we only had 3 poles in the water..

When I got to the gate I  had everything I needed.
But my piece of plywood was 1/2"  not 3/4.. they made me run to betty and Nicks and buy a 4$ piece of 3/4" plywood rgmn

You should know this!  rgmn You need to be setting an example for everybody mr ADMIN!  rofla

Ranger lady came over to us and got out and just sort of shined her light on our bucket and said "ok just checking that ur all fishing".  Meanwhile our rods were all down by the water and we were all just sitting by the fire making SMORES!  Dont know how she could tell we were fishing when she couldn't see the poles.
