Hit the Gambler this morn with a couple buddies and our kids. All these kids have fished before, either on our own boats or freshwater. This being their first "big boat" experience.
Headed north and drifted patchy rough bottom in 65-70 ft. Lots of action with c-bass and fluke, but for us, no keeper fluke and couple of c-bass to take home. Didnt matter to the kids though! Steady action kept the rods bent and smiles all around.
As always, Gambler crew were top notch! Capt Bobby had the kids in the wheelhouse explaining the workings of everything, mates showed the kids how to cut bait and the whole filleting process. Defintely a cool morning for the little guys.
Personalized "Accomplished Fishermen" certificates a real nice touch for the kids!!!!
Pool winnner went 7 lbs on a bucktail up in the bow.
Special thanks to Anthony, on top of EVERYTHING and helped the kids learn how to do it all!!!! Nice job Ant!
P.S. - give your kid an Atomic Sour Apple War Head, you'll know what I mean rofla

Saw you guys leave the slip. Jason & I were on the Reel Class fishing pretty much in front of where the Voyager leaves from.
