catfish's fluke report 6-23
« on: June 23, 2008, 08:45:03 PM »
met up w/ scrubby woodruff and sea tiger jeff toay for a nastey day of fishing ,we knew the south winds were gonna kill the bite but didnt know how bad it would be ,we picked at shorts from sunrise to 1 pm and didnt have a keeper in the box, at that poit we all had skunks on the brain until we made a last move to find them and it paid off ,we had less than 2 hours to put fish in the box and we did it ,we ended w/ 8 keepers and about 40 shorts in under 2 hours of fishing ,we were fogged in on the beach early then it rained on us w/ thunder ,then the rollers were over 4' but in the end we got meat

Nice catch, looks like 9 keepers there, not eight. Good job.  t^

Did you try tossing bucktails at the doe?  ;D

Hey Charly, What's up - It's Dennis.  Redbeard told me what site you were on.  Give my cell a call if you want that venison for the tournament. I have a bunch I can give you.  How come there are 9 fish in the pic but you said you got 8 keeps.  I think you just keep using the same pics.  I didn't fluke this week, but me and Hunter got some nice smallies in the Lamington and North Branch.  of course he got the biggest.  I'll talk to ya later.
