Didn't make it out either trip today. Just a half a handfull of customers to go around. Weather looks like it should be good for the next several days, the ocean will lay down and we will be back at it everyday.
Last season we started to catch some bass on the clams just around the
15th of the month. Will do the same thing this year, claming, chunking or jigging. Sailing every day now for Stripers and Blues.
Just happened to be staying in Chatham Mass this week. The Great Whites were a mile from our place, helicopters flying everday keeping an eye on them.
Taked to one of the local fishermen who watched a shark devour a seal, said the shark had to be 2,000 pounds!!!....he was actually shakin up by the verousity of the animal and I guess felt pretty bad for the seal!!
Those suckers (seals) are all over the place this time of year and estimated to be around 30,000 animals. Capt.ron
