out of Sayreville this morning with fishing buddies John and Dave, made a stop South Amboy to start the day, first drift I get an 18 inch plus on a peanut, then it's bluefish stealing the bait, headed to the Reach and fished from the 6 can working our way back with the drift going with the incoming for the most part.we only managed a few shorts all day, very little action, couldn't find the fish or they weren't chewing.beautiful conditions all day and a beautiful day but no fish.was going to go tomorrow, but giving it a rest and will try thursday.
