GAMBLER-- Weekend Flukin and Nite Trips
« on: July 04, 2016, 07:32:50 AM »
Fluke fishing has been good all week with some nice size keepers coming over the rails up to 7lbs. Yesterday morning John Winterberger caught the new monthly pool fosh for July weighing in at 7.3lbs. Emily Long was all out with us yesterday morning and caught a 6.7lber. We have all been catching some beautiful seabass up to 3 lbs and even some red hake are still around. Overall yesterday was a bit tougher all around because of the lack of drift in the morning and a little bit too much wind in the afternoon but we were still able to catch fish.

The nite wrecking trip on Thursday was good with a high hook of almost 20 big ling. Walt and Kevin were out with us and had a combined catch of 32 ling up to 3lbs. The nite blue fishing trip on Friday and Saturday nights was okay with small blues up to 2 lbs, perfect eating size.

The weather looks pretty good for this coming week with the exception of Tuesday. Tonight we will be doing a fireworks cruise leaving at 8PM, tickets can be purchased on board, $25 for an adult, $23 for a senior and $13 for a child!

Its better to sit in a boat and think about God, than to sit in a church and think about fishing.
