Headed out yesterday morning on the Jenny Lee in not so favorable seas but followed forecasts showing it would be better O/N...not....made the best of it and hooked up on a couple Mahi and 3 Yellowfin Tuna in the 50-70lb class before night fall. Chunked all night and had one hook up on the deep sword line which chaffed off after a valiant fight, never saw it but sure it was a nice size sword. Right at gray light in the AM, I called a hook up on the chunk and we landed another nice 50 lb class yellowfin. Up on troll amongst the huge pod of pilot whales and we started getting knock downs. Patience paid off and we started hooking up with skip jacks and more yellowfin including another 30lber and 40lber and some small schoolies released for another day. We kept 6 yellowfin and a nice mahi. Great effort put in by Dave and Jimmy all day and night. It wasn't an easy trip with weather and conditions but they made it a great trip.

Nice fish Mike. They look tastey.
Too bad on the conditions though. It's time to top off the tanks and head out to the deep.
