TNT Flukies... 5-30-10
« on: May 30, 2010, 09:02:37 PM »
Got out with just my Bow Monkey (LAB) today... fished from the north end of the Sandy Hook Reef to the Bug Light; much of our efforts along the front beach and the Channel. Lack of wind really put a damper on the bite. The fish wanted the bait moving and Mother Nature didn't help. Even constant power drifting just wasn't getting them on a good chew today.

We ended the day with 11 keepers with most being over 22". Biggest fish was 24"+ that weighed in at exactly 5#. Five fish in total were over 4#.

I had the water at 64.9 at one point today. Yesterday's high was 59. A few more degrees and we will be in business.  t^

 t^ Nice Job
Give a man a fish, and he can eat for a day. But teach a man how to fish, and he'll be dead of mercury poisoning inside of three years.
