We we started off at Ortley Beach but there were to many people out on the sand and in the water so we decided to slide onto IBSP. I heard that they were catching fluke at the inlet so off we go. Got there in time to see a dredge working and well nothing good can come from that fishing wise.
We tried a few things in the inlet and after loosing some rigs we decided to go back up north and see what was going on back at Ortley. We decided to go light on the beach and I am glad we did. We set up and waited for the sun to go down completely. After about 20 min or so my pole does a nice dance and the first Dog Fish hits the sand. :P Well at least it is something.
About 10 min after my uncle's pole does the same dance, fish on. He brings it to the sand...another Doggie. :P We decided to call it quits after a few doggies were landed. At least we had the thrill of catching and the skunk was diverted to someone else tonight.
Next week crabbing, probably over at the Mantalokin Bridge. We decided to try something different.
Happy Catching

Matt you should of honked or something. We stopped off at Grumpys for some little stuff and we went onto IBSP. It was a nice night for a ride I bet.
It got a bit chilly out there around 11ish. The wind was out of the NNW at about 15mph.
Happy Catching
